In the process of developing new modules I often prototype a smaller
version
to test the way an idea works musically. These are example of devices constructed
in easy to obtain Radio Shack enclosures

This unit is based on the psuedo-random shift register from the Buchla Model 266
"Source of Uncertainty" Quantized Random Voltages section.
I added a clock source, control voltage mixer, multiplier and bi-directional slew rate
limiter.
This allows experimentation with random sequences quantized to specific scales in a
1V/Octave system.
Specifically, feedback of random bits quantized to exactly 1 volt to the 1V/Octave
calibrated
clock source allow rhytm variation with precise eighth, quarter, half timing.
