2700 Series


Grant Richters Electronic Music Studio circa 1976
PAIA 2700 Series Modules controlling a television phosphor tube via the Crown DC-300 amplifier on top.
The power amp was connected directly to a dummy scan coil set around the CRT
Performances were recorded live to the TEAC 3340 tape deck and played back for audiences using colored filter sets.
Photograph was taken with a Polaorid SX-70 camera and emulsion cracking is typical of distressed 35 year old SX-70 fillm.
