Simple Waveshaper Generates Quadrature Triangle |
|
| A low parts count waveshaper for generating a quadrature triangle wave was shown as part of a design in Electronic Engineering magazine. The schematic section of interest to electronic music synthesizer builders is excerpted here. The waveshaper will attach easily to an Electronotes standard triangle VCO core with a slight modification. The switchable inverter circuit is already familiar from the standard triangle to sawtooth converter. The 2N3819 JFET and 100K gate resistor replace the DG201 switch section. The implementation of A3 can be improved. | |

generates a quadrature triangle wave.
